About Us
When God inspired me to establish the church, He revealed the name "The Foot of the Cross." From the very beginning of time, God sowed seeds within each one of us, crafting a unique plan for our lives even before the creation of the Earth. He placed a calling on my heart, urging me to stop merely sowing seeds. As ministers, our desire is to witness those seeds sprout and flourish, just like the moment when Mary visited Elizabeth, who carried John the Baptist. The unborn John leaped with joy upon sensing the presence of Jesus in Mary's womb. In the same way, my vision for this church is to ignite that seed, already planted in my people, to leap for joy, bringing glory to God and allowing them to actively participate in His divine works.
Our Vision
We believe that within each person resides gifts talents, and abilities, seed from God, tools that were installed within us and brought to earth upon our birth.
It's our vision to see each soul reach the greatest level of dominion possible in their gifting and talents in life.
This dominion is made possible as each person takes the intiative to reign in the thoughts within their mind by realizing that "as a man thinks in his heart (mind) so is he." Proverbs 23:7
Our vision is to see each human believe personally and for themselves, that what God says about them in his word the Bible, is the reality of what they are to live.
This reality is that we are sons (offspring) of God (Galatians 4:6), priests (1 Peter 2:9) and kings (1 Timothy 6:16, Revelation 17:14), we are the righteousness of God in Christ, (Romans 3:22, 2 Corinthians 5:21) we are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus has conferred upon us a kingdom (making us citizens and ambassadors of this kingdom) Luke 22:29, God has a plan and a purpose for our life (jeremiah 29:11-14)
In the end we are the sum total of the thoughts that we entertain within our mind.
Our thought when lined up with the Kingdom of God are to bring God the glory (attention) that he deserves as we fulfill his mandate within us to love one another.
Hello, my name is Joel Stallings, and I proudly serve as the pastor of The Foot of the Cross. Alongside me is my wife, Theresa Stallings, an integral part of who I am. When God created man, He provided him a helpmate—a companion who perfectly complements him. As a team, we embrace God's presence intertwined with us, functioning as a unified unit with a shared purpose.
Our ministry revolves around love and acceptance. We firmly believe in not judging others, as the world often does. Instead, we strive to reveal the beauty of the Kingdom—a realm of inheritance and divine rights. As citizens of this Kingdom, God grants us the authority to make a positive impact and exercise dominion on Earth.
At our church, me and Theresa's mission is to unveil your true identity in Christ. When you discover your identity in Him, your perspective changes. You'll walk with newfound confidence, knowing that you are valued, the head and not the tail, and that you can overcome any challenge through Christ's strength.

Declaration Of Faith
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
In one God manifested in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary; that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intecessor.
That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people.
In the baptism in the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
In water baptism by immersion and that all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
In the Lord's Supper.
In the premillennial second coming of Jesus; first, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air; second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
In Heaven and Hell; there is a literal heaven to gain and a literal hell to shun, eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

Meet our Assistant Pastor, Bill Treadway. Bill, pictured with his wife Alison, are both full of passion for our Lord and committed to serving our congregation. Bill plays a vital role in guiding and nurturing our church. He possesses a deep understanding of Scripture and a passion for ministry. he brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to our church family. Bill also serves as a leader in the Men's Ministry and exemplifies the love and grace of Christ in all endeavors. With his unwavering dedication and warm spirit, he is a blessing to have as an integral part of our family.

Greetings, I am Talton Roberson, entrusted with the role of Minister of Media at Foot of the Cross. I am pictured on the left beside my wife hannah on the right. My primary responsibility lies in ensuring the seamless alignment of all our media elements, while also overseeing their timely dissemination. It's a role I hold with profound reverence, recognizing its pivotal impact on serving God's purpose and enriching the lives of fellow individuals within the Kingdom of God. With utmost dedication, I shoulder this duty, aspiring to inspire countless souls to find their way to God's realm, fostering a profound connection with Jesus, and embarking on a journey of self-discovery. My passion is centered on curating top-tier content, meticulously designed to draw our audience into a deeper spiritual communion with the Divine.
