Faith is the foundation of our walk with God. It is the key that unlocks doors to the next level of glory in our lives. Scripture tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). The journey of faith is not about staying where we are but moving forward, trusting in God’s promises, and believing that He has something greater in store for us. Today, I want to encourage you to step out in faith and prepare for the next level of glory God wants to bring into your life.

Faith That Moves Forward

The Bible is filled with examples of people who trusted God and moved forward into His promises. Think about Noah. God told him to build an ark when there was no rain in sight. People mocked him, but Noah had faith. He trusted God’s word over what he could see, and because of his obedience, he and his family were saved (Genesis 6:13-22).

Then there’s Abraham. God told him to leave his homeland and go to a place he had never seen before. Abraham didn’t have all the details, but he believed God. His faith was counted as righteousness (Genesis 12:1-4, Romans 4:3). Abraham’s journey wasn’t about comfort; it was about obedience and trust. If we want to experience the next level of glory, we must be willing to step into the unknown, trusting that God is leading us.

Walking with God by Faith

Another powerful example is Enoch. The Bible says that Enoch walked with God, and one day, he was no more because God took him (Genesis 5:24). What does it mean to walk with God? It means aligning our steps with His will, trusting Him in every season, and staying close to Him. Enoch didn’t just believe in God; he lived in daily fellowship with Him. If we desire to reach new levels of glory, we must cultivate a deeper relationship with God—walking with Him, listening to His voice, and obeying His commands.

Faith That Overcomes Obstacles

Stepping into greater glory doesn’t mean we won’t face challenges. The enemy will always try to discourage us, make us doubt God’s promises, and keep us stuck in fear. But faith is what helps us overcome. The Israelites stood before the Red Sea with the Egyptian army behind them. In the natural, it looked like there was no way out. But Moses had faith. He lifted his staff, and God parted the waters (Exodus 14:21-22).

Sometimes, the next level of glory requires us to step into what seems impossible, trusting that God will make a way. Maybe you’re facing a situation right now that looks too big for you. Don’t be afraid. God is with you, and He will lead you through. Faith isn’t about seeing the whole picture—it’s about trusting the One who holds it all together.

Faith in Action

Faith is not just believing; it’s acting on what we believe. James 2:17 tells us that faith without works is dead. If we say we have faith but never step out, we remain in the same place. Peter walked on water because he took that first step when Jesus called him (Matthew 14:28-29). Yes, he started sinking when he looked at the waves, but at least he stepped out! Some of us are afraid to step out because we’re worried we might fail. But wouldn’t you rather take a step and grow in your faith than stay in the boat and never experience God’s power?

Conclusion: Preparing for the Next Level

God is calling us to a higher level of faith. He wants to take us from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18), but we must be willing to trust Him, walk with Him, and take action. Where is God asking you to step out? What promise has He given you that you need to believe for? Today, choose faith. Choose to move forward, even when you don’t have all the answers. Trust that God’s plans for you are greater than you can imagine.

The next level of glory is waiting. Will you step into it by faith?
